Jasmine completed her osteopathic degree at RMIT University. While studying she developed a pssion for helping people, community health and wellbeing. Jasmine enjoys treating a variety of people with many different conditions through RMIT Clinic. Partnered with her passion for physical activity and exercise, allows her to develop proactive movement-based treatment plans so her patients can enjoy a pain – free lifestyle. By employing her patient centred care ensures that Jasmine will discuss with you any conditions, treatments, exercise and lifestyle changes. In her spare time, you can find Jasmine training for women’s football, netball and completing triathlons and half ironman events.

Dr Jayden Dhar

Jayden completed his Masters of Osteopathy at Victoria University. He describes himself as a ‘people’s person’ that is able to treat all kinds of pain through a variety of techniques. Jayden’s experience includes placement at the University College of Osteopathy in London where he was able to work in various departments, including sports rehabilitation, General Practitioner and HIV-AIDS clinics. He also currently works at Norwood Football Club as the head trainer dealing with different type of acute sporting injuries. He believes education is integral for every patient and will take the time to explain your complaint to help you understand the area, the problem and how to beat it. When Jayden is not treating, he loves getting outside to the beach or to the snow, as well as catching up on all the latest sports news.

Ben van der Westhuizen

As an osteopath at Lifestyle Essentials, Ben does more than just treat pain. Ben’s philosophy is to first tackle your symptoms, and then work with you to tailor specific plans to improve your strength, stability and function so that you can shake your injuries off for good.

Patients who visit Ben can expect expertise that comes with over 10 years of treating patients. This includes 4 years working with RMIT University teaching and supervising the next generation of osteopaths. In addition to this, Ben has worked as an athletics coach to multi-event athletes and has coached individuals at a State, National and International level with great success. Ben's experience in the teaching and coaching worlds highlight his ability to communicate and work with individuals of many ages, abilities and fitness levels.

Ben achieves great success in treating all types of injuries and conditions. He prides himself on being able to work with complex conditions that have previously been considered hopeless to resolve.

  • Long term chronic pain

  • Sciatica

In his spare time you’ll find Ben at the Athletics track or kicking the footy. He loves going to the beach with his friends, and spending time with his partner and young family (and no not in that order Natalie).
